DIY 2.0: Raising The Bar

Recently, DIY 2.0 has been released raising the bar in near every standard to prove to be a state of the art fansite. We are going to continue doing that, but for now we’d like to show you what our fansite really does offer, and how we plan to continue offering it.

Better Information

We can proudly say that RuneScape DIY has some of the best guides known to man when it comes to RuneScape. They are thorough, without having to restate endless amounts of knowledge base info and contain what you need to get you out and training Before you know it.

We also have DIY Editors who regularly update our guides with new information. Should you find an error in the guide at any time or have a question, you can easily post a comment directly on the guide’s comment entry.

We are hoping to have a complete up-to-standard skill guide set by the end of 2008. By the middle of 2009, most of our guides will have converted their screenshots to RuneScape HD.

Viewing Experience

DIY has no ads, and probably never will. We could very well put some up, but into order to keep the guide’s experience easy viewing and extremely pleasurable, we don’t have them, and we don’t generate any revenue off of this site either. While we do take donations (see side bar under cool stuff), we use any collected strictly for site upgrades.

We try our best to keep page loads to a minimum, such as only displaying 6 posts on the main page and keeping our guide pages very terse.

A Better Forum

DIY 2.0 provides one of the nicest forums in the entire RuneScape world, filled with countless members that will gladly help you just about anything. Moreover, we have tons of room for nonRS discussion where you can talk about pretty much anything!

We hope you like our new 2.0 stuff, but trust us when we say that there is much more to come!

DIY Forums

Have you checked out our DIY forums lately? Our forums are filled with people who are just as curious about RuneScape as you are, and are ready to help. Not interested in RuneScape? No problem! The DIY forums cover a wide range of topics, from finding just finishing your homework, to debates on real life issues.

Registration is fast and completely free, and we welcome and encourage all users to participate. We are a kind and caring community, and would love to have you part of it.
